December 2017 - Present

In 3 months, I more than doubled the number of keywords that rank on positions 1 to 3 for WarfareHistoryNetwork.com's Google SERP. I also increased overall domain search visibility by 43%. In the past, I edited articles for U.S. News and World Report, wrote and edited e-newsletters and press releases for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and edited grant proposals for Child Care Aware of America.

February 2021 - November 2021

I planned and oversaw the development of company marketing and advertisements across all communication channels. This involved directing brand campaigns, submitting ideas for projects, and overseeing the development of all creative content. Working in close collaboration with executives to set project deadlines and content goals, I directed the rebranding effort from the company’s previous identity, Flip Factory App.

July 2018 – November 2020

I wrote and edited daily marketing e-mails for all AACOM departments; produced and edited press releases, articles and web materials; and assisted with social media content. I also wrote public remarks for the organization’s leadership. I planned the organization’s first email automation campaign to promote its annual conference, which led to a 48% increase in email response rates. I also produced a video featuring Dr. Fauci for our membership’s graduating classes.

April 2016 – December 2017

I directed and updated the weekly publication calendar for Bicycling.com, which consisted of finalizing 40 to 50 stories a week from our Gear, Stories, and News editors. I performed final top edits for every story we posted online, and created daily email newsletters that promoted our top-performing stories. I also created and published the brand's first custom digital features.

I was in charge of directing and implementing the weekly editorial calendar for Warfare History Network. I also assigned stories, performed photo research, edited, proofread and created layouts for WHN’s web-exclusive special issues. For e-mails, I designed and coded the brand's first fluid, mobile-first newsletter layout.

I wrote and optimized more than 400 product descriptions for the brand’s online store, along with product marketing copy for more than 800 products in preparation for the company launch on Amazon Seller Central. I also proofread and wrote promotional material for the company magazine catalog.

I wrote and edited press releases, articles and bulletins for our government client. I also wrote promotional copy for conference newsletters, presentation scripts, registration materials, iOS apps, websites, conference posters and e-mail alerts. In between those tasks, I also edited and proofread quarterly reports submitted to stakeholders.

While pursuing a Master of Arts in Creative Writing at the University of Technology, Sydney, I pitched, researched and wrote articles for Sydney PEN, Trailflix and other publications. I also produced marketing copy, press releases and other web content for clients as-needed.

I researched, wrote and published content for my two monthly newsletters, hundreds of articles two monthly print publications. To do this, I interviewed industry and policy professionals each week to obtain publication material and develop story leads. I also developed, led and implemented a plan to relaunch and rebrand a two-volume print publication to reflect current policy changes and trends.
